A monumental Modernist style brass repousse pitcher made in the 1930's-1940's by Italian designer Egidio Casagrande (1911-1962). Casagrande is renown for his work as a master craftsman who worked on the metal designs and armors for classic Hollywood movies like 'Ben Hur' and 'The Ten Commandments'.
This piece is in very good condition with a beautiful natural patina. Embossed mark on the bottom.
